May was a two-time All-American and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 1967 NCAA Tournament. He was inducted into the Dayton Flyers Hall of Fame in 1975.
Jim Paxson Sr.
Jim Paxson Sr. is the second all-time leading scorer in the history of the University of Dayton basketball program. He scored a total of 1,951 points during his career from 1955 to 1957. Paxson Sr. was a two-time All-American and led the Flyers to the NCAA Tournament in both of his seasons with the team. He was inducted into the Dayton Flyers Hall of Fame in 1973.
