Ole Miss Lady Rebels Women's Basketball team is an NCAA Division I women's basketball team that represents the University of Mississippi. The team competes in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and has been one of the most successful programs in the conference. Armintie Price Herrington is considered one of the greatest basketball players in the history of Ole Miss. She played for the Lady Rebels from 2003-2007 and was a three-time All-American. Herrington led the team in scoring and rebounding during her freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons. She was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Year during her senior season and was also a finalist for the Naismith Trophy. She was drafted third overall in the 2007 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky and played in the league for 10 seasons. Herrington is now an assistant coach for the Lady Rebels Women's Basketball team.
2. Jennifer Gillom
Jennifer Gillom played for Ole Miss from 1982-1986 and was a two-time All-American. She led the Lady Rebels to two SEC regular season titles and two NCAA Tournament appearances. Gillom was also a member of the 1984 US Olympic team that won a gold medal in Los Angeles. She was drafted sixth overall in the 1986 Women's Professional Basketball League Draft by the San Francisco Pioneers. She played professionally for 10 years and was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.
3. Bianca Thomas
Bianca Thomas played for Ole Miss from 2006-2010 and was a two-time All-SEC selection. She finished her career as the school's all-time leader in three-pointers made with 297. Thomas was also the SEC Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2010. She played professionally overseas after graduating from Ole Miss.
4. Valerie Still
Valerie Still played for Ole Miss from 1980-1983 and was a two-time All-American. She led the Lady Rebels to their first-ever SEC regular season title and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 1982. Still was also a member of the 1984 US Olympic team that won a gold medal in Los Angeles. She was drafted sixth overall in the 1984 Women's Professional Basketball League Draft by the Kentucky Wildcats. She played professionally for five years and was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.
5. Tia Faleru
Tia Faleru played for Ole Miss from 2012-2015 and was a two-time All-SEC selection. She finished her career with 1,567 points and 957 rebounds, making her one of only two players in school history with more than 1,500 points and 900 rebounds. Faleru was also the recipient of the 2015 Gillom Trophy, which is awarded to the best women's basketball player in Mississippi.
