Elena Delle Donne is arguably the most famous Delaware Fightin' Blue Hen women's basketball player of all time. She played for the team from 2009 to 2013 and put up some incredible numbers during her time at Delaware. In her senior year, she led the nation in scoring with an average of 28.1 points per game and was named the AP Player of the Year. After college, she was drafted second overall by the Chicago Sky in the 2013 WNBA draft and has gone on to have a successful professional career.
Devon Kane
Devon Kane played for the Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens from 2010 to 2014 and was a key player on the team during her time there. She was a four-time All-CAA selection and finished her college career with 1,554 points, 542 rebounds, and 441 assists. She was also an excellent defender and was named the CAA Defensive Player of the Year in 2013.
Elaine Powell
Elaine Powell played for the Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens from 1987 to 1991 and is one of the most successful players in program history.
